It's one of the largest chains in our town, and one of the worst run, at the local level. I wouldn't blame that manager if he was jumping up & down on a table screaming at his wait staff AND kitchen crew. Sad to see such a nice facility go down in flames (figuratively speaking ...). I was really excited to see a Denny's take the Miller building over. WAS.

Having worked for a large chain store in the past I know some have rules about firing employee's even for the store manager.
The company I worked for only allowed firing by the manager if an employee was caught in the act of stealing, all others had to have the okay by the regional manager, Denny's may have the same type of set up.
The higher ups need to know how the place is being run.

You are correct, TYPO I consider it the twin cities so it's interchangable. No, just put the wrong city when I meant St Robert.

After hearing all this I'm torn about giving them another chance. They sucked the first time and it doesn't seem like they are getting any better.

Wasn't that the same name you gave me on the first waitress? You must have a thing for destiny!

Okay, we tried Denny's again Wednesday night about 9 o'clock ... there weren't many other customers, but our wait time/service/food was awesome. Nothing they could have done to improve. We told the manager, and told him of our previous experiences, and about all the negative press they've been getting.
If they keep performing like they did Wednesday, they'll be a player here - Cashbox went back last night again, and their only complaint was that their waitress was TOO attentive, to the point they couldn't carry on a conversation. She was trying, though - can't fault them for that.
I'd sure like to see them succeed - we need a restaurant like theirs to help fill out our choices here.
Besides, our schedule is so helter-skelter, lunch is often at 11 pm anyway - it's nice to have something open when you need them (BESIDES the limited menu at Waffle House).

Good to hear that RR. I may try and get the wife to check it out again after that write-up.

Good. I hope lots of people do, so they'll be able to afford to hang on. That's a pricey little building, in a pricey neighborhood.

Totally understand. I would like to see more good places come to town, but they have to step up and take care of business or they will not keep customers. From the start, this place has dropped the ball. With luck, they have it together, finally and they start to see their business increase.

Geez, I couldn't afford a breakfast like that more than once or twice a week!
