It's everywhere...
Mike Huckabee First, we lose Twinkies, and now, say goodbye to a New York City landmark that I pass by almost every week in Manhattan’s Theater District. Patrons of the Stage Deli were shocked Friday when they came in for the famous giant sandwiches named after Broadway stars, only to find it shut tight. There was a handwritten sign on the door, reading, “Thanks for 75 years.” The owners say the Stage Deli had been struggling for some time, and they just couldn’t afford an upcoming rent increase. It’s just the latest New York business to fall victim to the costs of ever-rising taxes and regulations being passed down the line. But then, it was probably only a matter of time before Mayor Bloomberg started ordered them to stop putting so much meat on their sandwiches anyway. Only for renovation after the fire.
-------- Yeah, a few others' signs to take down .... "we" voted for it, though - time to suck it up. The business landscape is gonna look a lot different in a couple of years, and we've got four more to go. This is apparently what the people wanted.

Seoul Gardens? Granted we don't contribute much to the successes of local restaurants, but found SG locked up the other day. How long since it went under?

Near the Medical clinc? Or the old torches?
It's been years since the one near the medical clinic closed....they then opened at the old torches on Missouri Avenue and to tell the truth I never went into Seoul garden. I like the Korea cafe near the St. Robert Alarmco...once I find something I like I generally stick with it. As for Luigi's, it's now Thai, Thai.
