Does anyone know the ratio from Splenda to sugar........My mom is a diabetic and she uses Splenda and I was wanting to make her some ice tea in a big Sun Tea jar.....About how many packets would anyone say I would need to use.....Or how many teaspoons.....?

I found on their website that one packet of splenda = 2 tsp of sugar. Does that help?

I drink my tea straight up on the rocks, so I am not sure the proper amount of normal sugar you would put in there. I have watched different people add sugar and it does vary dramtically. The ones that kill me are the ones you can see the pile of sugar sitting in the bottom of the glass! UGH!

What is funny about the south, and it's starting up here the last few years, you have to specify UNSWEET tea or you will get sweet tea. And many times when you get a refill and take a swig, they refresh it with sweet tea. Drives me crazy. Hubby can deal with it, but I just can't stand it.
