Default Hearty Main Dish Tuna Salad

Scorching days like we've been having call for nice cool crispy crunchy meals like this one! I think we could eat a gallon of this without stopping for breath! It's SO good!

8 oz. fresh snow peas, cleaned & very lightly sautéed (or leave 'em raw if you like)
1 pkg. tuna, drained
1 cup thinly sliced celery
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/8 tsp. garlic powder
1 tbsp. lemon juice
1½ tsp. soy sauce
small sprinkle of chow mein noodles

Combine snow peas, tuna, celery, mayonnaise, garlic powder, lemon juice & soy sauce. Chill. Serve in a butterhead/bibb lettuce leaf (they're kinda cup-shaped), or on a leaf of romaine; sprinkle a few chow mein noodles before serving.

I've been getting fresh snow peas at Evans in Richland, but you can substitute Italian Romano beans too. Any flat edible pod veggie.
