Tried Marlboro man's favorite sandwich, and was unimpressed, and my husband is from Oklahoma! But then again, I didn't have enough real butter, lol.

Homemade dinner rolls, deer steaks (browned in cast iron skillet, add a little flour and water, put lid on and bake for 30 min) spinach salad and asparagus. Fixed choc. sheet cake for later. Also made some chicken salad for a sick friend.

I've read that recipe several times & still haven't tried it . . . and since I don't have ANY real butter right now, I guess it'll get put off again! My foodie friend in Yukon OK, sez she never has anything BUT real butter in her house . . . dang! Wonder how people afford this buttery lifestyle?! lol!

Here 'tis:

Marlboro Man's favorite sandwich

I had browned some link breakfast sausages last night, and CW said he likes those, but not quite as often as I. So I rummaged around to see how I could fix them in a new way.

Fried up some onion & green pepper, dumped in a can of tomatoes & quite a healthy splash of wooster. Added a little cooked macaroni & a slab of Velveeta cheese for good measure. He thought it was a fine meal! lol! So fine, in fact, that he was headed to the kitchen tonight, to heat 'em up himself! (that's a FIRST!) I guess I'd better write it down in case he decides I oughta fix it again sometime!

I sure can't afford the amount of butter that Pioneer Woman uses in every recipe, and neither can my husband's health. I will be looking closer at Farmgirl Fare I think. But then again, I don't raise sheep and don't have a giant herb garden. Hmm, probably beans, cornbread and fried potatoes in my house forever, lol. Must be Pulaski County Cookin' time.

Oh, mine loves real butter, but get real. As expensive as cheap margarine is we are hard put to keep enough of it in the house, much less enough real butter to use at least two sticks per recipe like Pioneer Woman. Makes me lol. Sure she does all that work herself with that kind of money.

Chicken Enchilada, Spanish rice and Eight OClock fresh ground coffee.
(Just finished reading the Marlboro Man's sandwich recipe.... I hear my Arteries hardening from just reading it)
