Like I said, better work on running faster than an AK47 round.

They better be fast!
I can't believe what the Army is turning into with the type of new soldiers they are taking.
Need some old gruff sgt's to teach these people on the range.

Best lesson I ever learned wasn’t “school” approved. Assigned to protect a section of perimeter on finals, I watched a civilian doc hurry to the concertina strung in front of my bunker, didn’t stop, in two steps he had crossed and hurried to the command post to check on a trainee who twisted his ankle. Heading back I stopped and asked how he got through the wire. He taught me the concertina two step. Stepping on joining bands. He hurried off and my drill sergeant caught me entering back inside. Eight weeks of being called the Company propeller smeller and wing nut because I was prior service caught up in those three seconds... “You mean the Army doesn’t teach the Air Force two step?”. I showed him, he ran off to the senior drill sergeant, that afternoon the platoon practiced the two step.
Army training. Good stuff

Illinois land of
Taxes. They’re at it again!
https://www.westernjournal.com/illin...ign=manualpost
They want an 85 cent tax on gas and a dollar on diesel!
‘cause the money from current taxes isn’t filling potholes.
It must be filling politicians pockets!

The Land of Lincoln has some of the worst roads in the country and the state is dyed in the wool " union everything".

I've not been up in the Chicago area, so I just can't say from the little of the state I've seen. I don't really care for the places I've seen so far, but I'm sure there are nicer places in the state.
