That is just what I have been saying her, mnmnutswer. Some are not doing their job and they miscalculate and overpay you. Then you get the warning letters and the threats to take the money out of your bank accounts. Keep documentation of who you talk to and when.

You mean, vet their applicants? Heck, they don't even vet our presidential candidates. And they "have all our information", but can't tell for certain where da prez was born or how he did in school? How odd.

They do vet their applicants but even with the information in front of them they are making mistakes. One couple had to pay back 12,000 because the SS had received NEW information. They had the information from the getgo but failed to read it.

mnmnutswear, here is an example of why we have to make sure that we
do everything we can to double check to make sure things are done right.

And then those same people that srewed-up all those applications get large bonuses from the SSA. Doesn't just tick you off?

There is probably much more fraud than they would care to admit, this case is just one of the larger ones.
Hope they catch them and give them many years in a federal prison to think about how they use to have a good life on the yacht.

Oh yes, when they find this couple they MUST make an example of them, because they are very low and need to first pay the money back and then spend some long time behind bars. It takes a really sorry sack of poop to do something like think they aren't hurting anyone. Hang em high.
