Last weekend we went to our daughter's house in Salem to help them with some outside work ... cashbox decided to sink a metal bowl in the ground where the A/C condenser drains to the outside. She then made a really cute little fountain surround out of rocks for it, so their two boxers would always have water to drink. With a little effort, it would be a really neat little detail for the yard, and the dogs LOVE it!

That's a good idea.

This reminds me of this house in Eureka Springs called the Quigley house. This lady built all kinds of stuff with rocks that she gathered over the years. Her yard is full of various things; birdbaths, statues, table, benches....She built a fence, even "rocked" the outside of her home and interior walls. She later got into "shelling". Her husband made "bottle" trees. Very unique place to visit.
