Default Apache

By Englishman Ed Macy
A British Army Air warrant officer describes the British Army's use of it's totally redesigned U.S. Army long bow Apache attack helicopter. (they use more powerful rolls Royce engines and a defensive suite the U.S. Can only dream about)
His last tour in Afghanistan is the focus... The Man was Awarded a Military Cross for THE ABSOLUTELY BRAVEST MISSION I have never heard of. Reading it and the missions leading up to it I was totally unable to put down the book.
Its written with an English tilt but having served alongside English R.A.F. and Army forces I pieced a lot of it without having to go to the appendix labeled Americanese translator.... The guy has a remarkable sense of modesty but if you were ever pranked and did prank coworkers you will be absolutely LYAO at these guys..
MEL, a must read.. Gimme a call we will do lunch and I'll let you buy me lunch then you can borrow it then make BBW buy you lunch to give it to him...(one of youse might get Rocco'd)
When you read the book you'll understand.....
Be careful following the masses.
Sometimes the M is silent!
