Ok, I’m done, got two sons in the Army, sometimes they’ll call asking advice on situations. Most times they’ve figured it out and just want to yank the old mans chain.
But this one is beyond me.

Heathen demands waiver to keep beard so he can worship Norse thunder god.
This is what the Army has sunk to? Heaven forbid the Army scrapes the barrel and has to activate the permanent disability list. I’m gonna drive the induction center crazy!

If the person who wants to be a soldier can't understand the rules that the service has in place then they don't need to be a soldier and the military shouldn't bend or change the rules for them IMO.
This is one of the many things that are changing the status of the country and making it less safe and risking our future being able to defend it IMO.

The :?)%^*<‘s an MP at Fort Leonardwood. If he tries to pull me over I’m driving to the MP Station. “Hello, 911, I’m being chased by a fake cop on Fort Leonard Wood, I’m driving to the MP Station” I figure the 8th time this happens he will have Latrine Duty at the station or until he shaves, absolutely ridiculous!

He should have received some time in prison for the stupid action and the cost of taxpayer equipment.
The guy filming and laughing needs some serious latrine duty for an extended time.

And there are still heroes out there:
A flight of two B1B bombers left outa Dyess AFB Texas.
The flight leader experienced an IFE (in flight emergency)
His fire warning light for his wing fairing (where the planes two wings meet and swing them forward and back) wouldn’t reset. As the other bomber closed to inspect the stricken plane another fire warning light showed a fire in number three engine. Fire extinguishers were used but the warning lights stayed on. The trailing bomber was reporting smoke or extinguisher streams coming off the wing and fairing. Then the pilot saw “Fire streaming back like a meteor!” The pilot of the burning bomber after consulting the checklist commanded a manual ejection by each of the 4 man crew. The offensive warfare officer sitting behind the copilot and closest to the fire, triggered his ejection seat. The hatch above him blew off, the foot restraints pulled his feet back to clear the hatch and nothing. The seat didn’t rocket out of the plane. He was trapped in a burning plane! The pilot put away the checklist and with the remaining crew who feared if they ejected the resulting airflow disruptions would affect the planes flight characteristics, set out to disobey flight rules and land at the nearest runway with fire fighting vehicles and a runway long enough to handle a plane whose wings were set for high speed cruise, not for slow landings. AND THEY PULLED IT OFF, saving a roasted, toasted bomber and a slightly fried captain!
Bravo!
