Yeah, I would have preferred either of those, too. I'm still hoping for an IHOP down around that intersection, though!

Something that's open 24 hours, has an interesting late-night menu, seasonal specialties, and a decent training program for employees & management. I'd like Denny's, but no matter where you go, it's like a completely different place from one week to the next. Menu offerings are the same way - today, you might get a burger almost buried in fries, but go again tomorrow, and you might get 7 fries. Literally. Same with their "Slams" - sometimes, it's way more than you can eat - the next time, there's half as much, and when you press them, they just assure you that's the "normal portion". It's hard not to tell 'em, "Listen, Fizzlebritches, that's only about HALF your normal portion - I've been eating at Dennys since before you even entered the workforce".

Yeah, a Popeye's would be great now that all our chicken joints are gone. What is up with the twin cities, why can't we get any new places?

We do need a chicken place that knows how to cook it, I'm surprised that someone else hasn't got the KFC franchise.
