The Tigers went to State in 97/98....undefeated? Was that the year we did not play the Camdenton Lakers?

This year, the Tigers have a shot. The only question I see is the play of the offensive line. They are pretty suspect in that area as of today. The skill positions look very good, but we can't move the ball without good blocking.

I think that with the overall talent that the Tigers have across the board we can really turn some heads this year. Not a lot of size on O and D but as the saying goes "Speed Kills". I think adjustments will have been made against LJ this year by opposing defenses who got ran over by this young man. What is the intangible in this years Tiger team is burning speed at receiving and a QB who can throw and run. Defense is a mainstay again for the Tigers this year. We lost some good growlers to graduation, but we have some real head bangers stepping up to humble some folks. The Tigers have historically ran the ball with success, but seem to come up short when it counts when that scheme is defensed well (Camdenton). Diversify the game plan and win, stick to the old "three yards and a cloud of dust" and miss another chance at making the big show. Next couple of years might be a little lean.
