Default New place in Crocker

Anybody hear about a new place in Crocker?? Not sure exactly what it is going to be....it's in the white multilevel house on the corner right before you get to the small engine repair place.

I know they have done TONS of work on the place and it looks nice from the outside....can't wait to see what it is.

its a new eatery called "the Kentucky House" if i remember correctly. Lisa Schwandt is the owner. if you run into her, might see if you could find out the prospective opening date.

They opened Tuesday. Only open right now from 11 am - 2 pm. Serving speciality sandwiches and soups. Our office had lunch Tuesday. Excellent food and priced right. $5 - $6 for sandwich and side combo.

Thanks for the update, Timber ... I didn't realize they'd already opened! Did they say anything about expanding the hours to include evenings?

I think right now they are getting a feel for the business. I am hoping that they do, so other people can enjoy what they have. By the way, there is an Antique Store upstairs called the Kentucky Goldenrod. Got a lot of really neat things.

Default Kentucky House still open for business?

Obviously we aren't well attuned to the goings-on in Crocker, but were just wondering if they're still open & what are their hours?

I've heard advertising for them on KJPW/KFBD some time back so I assume they are open, but I do not know the rest of the details.
