JC's went belly up. For lease sign on it same as the Jeff City one...
So who's gonna be brave enough to open a franchise around here?
Just seems like the individual restaurants (non Franchise) fold pretty quick.

Cmon Captain D's, (we'll never see a Red Lobster or Olive Garden)
Maybe a Fazoli's? Fast Italian, not too shabby
Maybe it's time for a new franchiser to try a KFC and make it work..
But a Popeyes moving into the old KFC would be a winner too.
Sigh, all those families and trainees looking to eat pre and post graduation just going to waste..
How about a Golden Corral or western sizzler, maybe an outback?
Man, I'd get an extra epi pen....lol

And Mel, Prime was eh..their red sauce was too sweet, chicken parm was tough, house salad dressing was horrible.
One of the owners didn't know cannelloni was stuffed with veal, pork and spinach, served with a Marinara sauce and a dollop
of Alfredo ...sigh...the wife's grand pop taught me how to cook Italian.. The man was a genius..
So
Ya dodged the bullet old friend

And yet Lucky House Chinese is doing well, go figure. I think Popeyes had more than traffic as its death knell. I did notice a decline in food quality and service before it died..

What was the deal with KFC. I was curious last week and checked out the Denny's facebook site and they don't have many good comments at all. This place has some serious problems if the comments tell the whole story. Looks like management is the main problem. I refuse to go there after my one time and then I keep seeing this. I will not try a second time until I see the comments improve. Many said they waited for service and then just walked out. All while the place had only a few customers.

You can buy them books and buy them books but you can't make them learn seems to be the trend with some of the local eating places.

I just don't have time to stand around and be ignored...

I did go into Denny's a couple of times and when ignored I walked out..there's other places that have great customer service..I did go one morning to Denny's and waited, there were two customers with food... And no wait staff to be seen... I'm a curious guy so I walked back to the managers office and scared the bejeezus out of him.

*Just lucky the two customers weren't psychopathic killers sitting down to a meal after robbing and massacring the staff* doh

Hold on ill get a waitress..
nah I'll get a breakfast burrito at the drive through..
It's been over four months and I've never gone back
Guess they haven't improved

We go to Denny's once in a while, just because we like the choices on their menu. It's a crapshoot, though - each time you go in , it's like a completely different place, different waitresses/waiters, and different managers. The food, though, is usually pretty consistent. Decent to good.

Customer service can make you or break you in business, people will over look fair or moderate food and prices if they feel they are getting good service.
When you go to the bigger towns where they have plenty of competition most places won't stay in business long if they don't take care of the customer, it seems around here some managers and owners have the attitude that they have a captive audience with the army base and people don't have the choice to shop around.

It DOES seem that way, Rudy.
