Default Some People

Hey MEL http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=e96_1...IyoKZ4xiQt1.99
How many things wrong do you see with this imposter....now I never wore the new class A blues. But where does a Sergeant Major wear infantry crossed rifles with the US above and not on Roundels? That's like poking me in the eye each time I look at the video if he's at "Benning" or even Stewart he's got a combat infantry..<below> a regimental crest and no blue Roundels? Wrong order of precedence and wearing ribbons AND medals IS THAT THE CORRECT SIDE for the Recruiter hockey puck? This guy if he was a private in my Army... It would take all day of screaming til I was blue in the face and then I'd have dragged him to the first NCO in his chain via the MP Desk Sergeant and even after all that I would drive by his unit to yell at him on weekends just to release any apoplectic tendencies he instilled...

Oh man imagine if we had walked into this guy....
I'm pretty sure I coulda posted bail, at least for me...I'm too pretty for prison..
Wadda loser!
His mustache was too long also..

And
From even a video

He smelled of so much B.S. He shoulda been quarantined.

For sure. This idiot is really lucky he wasn't left bruised and bleeding by the side of the road, in his underwear. They just need to commit him to some institution somewhere, just for his own safety.

Your correct, that was wrong on so many levels. I could go on and on, but here are a few things I saw or heard:

Officer branch insignia not noncommissioned officer.

He mentioned he was the battalion Sergeant Major, well, then he would be a Command Sergeant Major and not a Staff Sergeant Major.

He had SGM rank on the beret, that should be his unit crest.

Mixed ribbons and medals on the uniform.

I believe his drill and recruiter badges were on the correct sides MKPA.

What a oxygen theft this guy is. I'm hoping they got his license plate number and called the law to turn this jack wagen in, because he is really in need of a attitude adjustment.

Funny story. I loved the comment about just like ever other E-8 or staying off the grass. It used to be that way, back in the day, but in todays military those type of minor things aren't event thought about.

OMG! Stepping on the SGM's grass! A mortal sin on some posts... They even went so far as to call MP's to try to enforce it...
I always got lost GOING to THOSE calls..or I'd self divert to a more serious crime...
Dog without a leash? Horrendous stuff..
Lol

Yeah, I remember in the 3rd Infantry Division in 1975 the division had a pink slip campaign going and if you were stopped for a uniform violation or other such BS, you and your chain of command would have to go to the division CSM's office for a butt chewing. It was really a motivator--NOT!! I always thought it was kind of stupid, like we were back in high school or something.

Was reading the Army times and saw a sidebar story.. A dependent called a PFC Private and the Private gave her a stare and stated " I'm a Soldier".
Man oh Man the comments generated by the one post was amazing...there were people ALLEGEDLY SENIOR MILITARY PEOPLE saying the term "Private" was demeaning. It's a rank ya Buncha doofuses! You address soldiers sailors and Airmen by their rank. It's been that way since Baron Von Stuebuen started training soldiers at Valley Forge..private if you feel it's demeaning then do an outstanding job and get promoted to specialist and if that ain't good enough keep working hard till you're a sergeant.
Really
Sexual harassment, drawdown pink slips in combat zones, no new equipment, another two front deployment
And it's two pages of whining about addressing people by rank?
Really!?!
I'm so glad I retired before the PC Tsunami rolled over the Army...
Demeaning.... Grrrr
