Pretty sure the humane society ain't law enforcement, BUT they do work with them and I'm pretty sure Kim would go to bat for that dog...she's ummm intense. Yeah that's the word, once she sinks her teeth into a problem she's INTENSE

He's not eating! He hasn't ate anything for three days. Grrrr.

This thread came up at County Commission today. One item to consider that I haven't seen said yet -- remember that not all tumors are cancerous. Like anything else of a medical nature, checking the situation first may be a very good idea. Removal of a non-cancerous tumor may not only prolong this dog's life but also return quality of life to an animal whose owners pretty clearly don't care.

Kim Fuhr of the Pulaski County Humane Society is probably the best first call given the circumstances.

He was looked at by the Loving paws people here in Crocker. (They spoke with the owner) What makes you think I didn't "check the situation"? He stopped eating for three days and has been gone for three days. I think he gave up. I did everything I could for him under the circumstances. I cannot afford to fix all the dogs that are dumped down here

I'll let the eastern district commissioner respond since he's a member of the Pulaski County Insider.
