Default Water heater

Hot water heater quit today. I'm in the process of fixing it. So far, I found out that it has POWER! OUCH!

Do you have an OHM meter Mark?
After you find out which element is out, drain the heater, pull out the old element and head to the hardware store for a replacement
(Newcombs)
Be SURE you fill up the heater and get all the air out of the lines before turning back on the power.
I'm sure you new all this but I just wanted to remind you.

Yea I'm thinking element. That's also the drain. I'm going to make a mess.

There should be a faucet type drain on it, hook a water hose to it.
To make it run faster open up your water faucets , just make sure you turn off the outside water source
