MACUNGIE, Pa. (AP) - Animal welfare workers say 11 puppies were found dead and skinned near an eastern Pennsylvania park.

The Lehigh County Humane Society says the dogs were discovered Friday near a park in Lower Macungie Township, outside Allentown.

County humane society officials say testing will determine whether the puppies were domestic or wild.

State police are investigating.

The discovery is second disturbing animal death in the county in less than a week. Police say a dog was discovered skinned and cooked about 20 miles away in Lynn Township.

It's not unusual to hear of "religious sacrifices" going on, but that doesn't usually involve skinning. They're usually after blood and organs instead. This is something new.

Default Wow

Sister says the whole county is up in arms, she's with a greyhound rescue and trains shepherds. she was livid.

So if it's one person and if they find out who did it theres gonna be some serious jail time asked for..

One puppy found skinned would be disturbing... the numbers seem to indicate an occult practice of some sort... definitely macabre...

I've never heard of that, but the numbers DO make you wonder.
