Default Western District Commissioner

Seeking a person for a very public position dealing with the citizens of Pulaski County.
Must have the patience of Jobe, the ability to work odd hours as needed, get along well with others is a must, take criticism on a daily basis, and overall have the desire to please others.
Good salary and benefits, good working conditions, and the ability to advance if desired.
Must reside in the Laquey, Richland, or Crocker area, the lenght of employment is for a four year period starting January 2009, and has possibilities for more years if desired.
Applications can be obtained at the Pulaski County Clerks office in the courthouse, there is a Fifty dollar application fee that is non-refundable.
Applications will be taken from Tuesday Feb.26,2008 thru March 25,2008 job decision won't be available until November 4, 2008.

But those are only the "Ideal" requirements for employment. If you're completely self-absorbed (narcissistic), greedy, over-confident and bellicose, uncompromising in nature, completely inconsiderate of others and/or unconcerned for the general welfare of the county we live in, go ahead and apply - you'll be treated fairly, and probably stand an excellent chance of getting the job! JMHO

Boy RR did you just open the door. Now everyone that can raise 50 bucks
will be signing up!!

Maybe he was talking about Jobe, the local internet providers .... (?) And those three cities happen to be in the Western district, which is where you have to live to get the job (jobe?) LOL

well apparently on the western side, if you're elected commissioner, you get free use of county equipment and personnel for personal projects. wouldnt that be handy

And you also get an inordinate proportion of the R & B funds/per/mile to work with, too.

Yes I mispelled Job my old internet provider was jobe...go figure.
I thought this was a funny that would give you all a few laughs.
