Exclamation Cochin property – A proper place to be in at this point of time

The continuous boom in the Cochin Property sector is the envy of many of the real estate agents and developers in other parts of the country. The price of land in Cochin has reached astronomical proportions and few transactions actually take place in the prime properties located in M.G. Road and Marine Drive.

The property owners in Cochin never had it so good as of now. Land values have been seen to continuously appreciate over the years. Property prices in some parts of Cochin where real estate transactions are a rarity literally doubled within a few months of the sale of a particular plot.

With the property prices showing an upward graph, most of the residents in the prime city areas now sell off their lands and move into apartments or move to the suburbs where land prices are appreciating rather slowly.

Consider the developments in the Cochin property sector especially in the southern parts of Cochin. Till a few decades ago, most of the land areas in South Cochin was marshy land. But the fast pace of urbanization resulted in land values appreciating and low income occupations making way for higher income ventures and other real estate developments. Literally speaking, urbanization and industrialization has literally transformed the landscape in Cochin.
